I'm really proud to finally publish my individual graduation project, made in 14 weeks at Artside. It is based on an epic concept made by Andrew Palyanov https://www.artstation.com/andrewpalyanov

The scope was definitely a challenge and I haven't had the time to do alternative lighting scenarios yet, but I'm still quite happy with how it turned out. I wanted to explore modern techniques and maintain a high level of quality across the entire scene. Nanite allowed me to preserve lots of details in my sculpts and to rely less on baked Normal maps for the biggest elements, such as the statue. Coupled with Material Layers in Unreal and RGB Masking, it was an efficient way of texturing most of the assets and retain the Texel Density target of 10.24 px/cm.
