Hi, happy to be back with this project on which I worked during the last few months. I was juggling with a few art tests here and there, plus I got my first professional contract, so it took a bit more time.

This is based on a couple of concepts made by Ricardo Lima for his Fantasy Series.

This is a pretty "graphic" project, not necessarily meant to be played as a continuous level from start to finish. I wanted to translate the concepts as best as I could in Unreal and still make it cinematic and believable, while maintaining a modern workflow from games, using Nanite, Material Layers and PBL (Physically Based Lighting) with Lumen.

Any Megascans or scanned data is always used as part of a larger process: like Height Maps used during the sculpting phase, or textures used as a base on top of which more layers are added. I try to never just download a texture or asset, simply use it "as is" and call it a day without customizing it for the specific needs of the project.

Skeleton Soldier and Falling Rubbles VFX are from the Dark Ruins Quixel Sample.
Knights Characters are from the BMS Medieval Collection.

Huge thanks to all my friends for their feedback and especially for the moral support during this post graduation and job hunting phase, helping to keep the drive and passion alive.
